E&P Industry in Sub-Saharan Africa

A critical element in the emerging dynamics of the SSA oil and gas nationalism is the role of Nigeria as a
leading oil and gas producer and regional power with the capacity to provide leadership and drive regional cooperation in this critical area. Considering the achievements that Nigeria has made so far in the upstream and downstream sectors of the industry, there is no doubt that Nigeria carries great responsibility for dictating the direction of the African oil and gas nationalism.
